Benjamin And His Son Fly A Electrical Kite

Inventor Benjamin Franklin and his son tested the relationship between electricity and lighting when they flew a kite, with a key attached, in a thunderstorm. With the success of this first experiment, Franklin then equipped his home with a lightning rod and connected it to bells that rang when the rod was electrified.
