Later, in 1960, he became the official designer to Jacqueline Kennedy, the chic First Lady who became the epitome of the famed Camelot look. Credited with creating styles such as the A-line dress, turtlenecks for men, and the Nehru jacket, Cassini became a household name, synonymous with great fashion. Over time, he expanded his fashion design empire to include fragrances, luggage, and accessories.
